Proprietary RF Spectrum

Arada Systems offers support for operating in the 2.3 Ghz – 2.7 GHz frequency band. The tested technology involves tuning various Atheros 802.11 a/b/g chipsets for operation in 2.3Ghz/2.5Ghz/2.6Ghz/2.7GHz.

Product Highlights

The non-standard 2.3GHz/2.5GHz/2.6GHz/2.7GHz RF spectrum is used worldwide by a large number of services and devices. Our solution allows standard 2.4GHz Atheros chipsets to operate at 2.3 GHz – 2.7 GHz frequencies–giving customers with Atheros Communication hardware the flexibility to use these frequencies.

The 2.5GHz band (2500 - 2700 MHz) provides 200 MHz of valuable spectrum and has significant economic potential. Worldwide, it is utilised for a wide-range of services depending on the region under consideration. Further developments in a number of standards have also made high-speed quadruple-play services (video, broadband access, fixed and mobile telephony) possible in this frequency range.

Similarly, 2.3 GHz range is useful for services such as government and non-government mobile service, government radio-location services, fixed, mobile, broadcasting-satellite (sound) services, telemetry and satellite digital audio radio services.
